How We Roast: Small-Batch Coffee in Seattle

At Soundside Coffee, every coffee is roasted in small batches at our roastery on Seattle's Puget Sound. Small-batch roasting lets us dial in each origin individually and ship coffee that's only days off the roaster.

Single-origin, sourced with care

We buy single-origin green coffee from farms and washing stations in Ethiopia, Colombia, Honduras and beyond. Sourcing one origin at a time means each bag reflects the place it came from — its variety, processing, and altitude — rather than being blended into anonymity.

Roasted fresh, every week

We roast throughout the week to order, so the coffee you receive is fresh. Whole-bean coffee keeps its character longest; we recommend brewing within a few weeks of the roast date printed on every bag. Prefer ground? We grind to order right before shipping.
